Kairuki Hospital opens third OPD

KAIRUKI Hospital has opened a new Out Patient Department (OPD) with capacity to handle 120,000 patients a year in a bid to ease patients’ congestion.

According to report, the new department dubbed OPD 3 will mainly serve health insurance clients whose numbers increased recently.
The OPD 3 has bigger reception area, ten doctors’ consultation rooms, ultrasound rooms, dialysis unit, and emergency service will officially launch soon.
The OPD 3 is behind the main hospital building. Kairuki Hospital (KH) is one of the leading private hospitals in the country that has been operational for more than 24 years.
It is among the four hospitals in Tanzania accredited by the Medical Council of Tanzania under the Ministry of Health as teaching hospital.
Other teaching hospitals in the country are the Muhimbili National Hospital, Mbeya Referral Hospital, KCMC Hospital in Moshi, and Bugando Hospital in Mwanza.
